As a result of a brainwave of Brian Brennan and the launching of 1996 DVD All Ireland hurling final ”The Friends” were presented with a cheque for €11,276. This took place in the Naomh Eanna Complex Saturday 11th February 2012 to some of the committee members. This is a super boost to our funds a big thank you all involved in this undertaking in the club, better not mention names in case somebody gets left out –so a collective ‘Thank You’ one and all.

The Friends AGM will be held in The Loch Garman Hotel Gorey on Tuesday 28th February 2012 @ 8pm. There will be a review of the year’s events and the fundraising events that have taken place.It has been a great year with so much funraising ideas by various people and groups and a lot of mone ydonated. Come along on the night and find out more about the friends, you do not have to join but your continued support will be greatly appreciated .

Unveiling

On Saturday 28th January the unveiling of next next phase of the friends fundraising target took place in the Hospital Grounds. We have now gone over €200,000 which is a great acheivement .

Table Quiz.

As a result of a table quiz organised by members of Courtown Golf Club and held in the golf club €660 was donated to the friends.
